Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Caddie Up ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Caddie Up mobile application (the "App"), which helps golfers and pickleball players find partners, discover tee time and court deals, and message each other to arrange matches. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
When you create an account and use Caddie Up, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), and date of birth or age confirmation (Caddie Up requires users to be 18 or older).
- Profile information: skill level, preferred sport (golf or pickleball), playing preferences, and optional profile photo.
- Location information: your general location or a location you enter, used to show nearby partners, courts, and deals.
- Messages: content you send through in-app chat with other users, which is stored so matched users can coordinate sessions and so reports of abuse can be reviewed.
- Usage information: how you interact with the App, including matches made, deals viewed, and reports or blocks you submit.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To match you with compatible partners based on your stated preferences and location
- To show you relevant tee time and court deals
- To enable in-app messaging between matched users
- To investigate reports of abusive, unsafe, or policy-violating behavior and to block users when necessary
- To maintain the security and integrity of the App
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the App, including our database and backend provider (Supabase), which stores account, profile, and message data on our behalf.
- Other users — your profile information (not your private account details like email or password) is visible to other users as part of the matching feature. Messages you send are visible to the user you're messaging.
- Law enforcement or legal authorities when required by law, or when necessary to protect the safety of our users.
Your Safety
Caddie Up facilitates in-person meetups between users. We encourage you to stay cautious when meeting someone new: meet in public places, tell a friend or family member your plans, and use the in-app Report and Block features if another user makes you feel unsafe. We review reports and may suspend or remove accounts that violate our community standards.
Your Choices
- You can edit most of your profile information directly in the App.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
- You can block another user at any time from within a conversation.
Children's Privacy
Caddie Up is not directed at and may not be used by anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we've collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post any changes on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
